Easy Way to Install Egress Window Wells

Ensure good window frame in place with the screws. Finish installation of your egress window. After installing window, pour 6 inches of pea gravel in the window well and around the outer frame edge. Spread it evenly with a metal rake. Backfill the window well’s outer edge with the soil you removed. Cover the egress window wells with an appropriate cover to keep moisture out of the well.
