Pivot door hardware – Interior design continues in its quest for different elements and out of the conventional. If you look at one of the central components of a house as its doors, we can find some peculiar and striking solution. Different and truly spectacular doors are the so-called pivot doors of vertical axis.

Pivot door hardware with vertical axis is out of the ordinary by their type of opening, very different to what we are accustomed. Thus, at the top of the blade a rotating bolt is placed that secures the door to the side and top frames, while at the bottom the bolt supports the weight and fixes the door to the frame and to the floor. This allows the door leaf to pivot door hardware on a vertical axis leaving a wider and brighter aperture, and further facilitates the blade to be of greater dimensions.
